Cannondale CAAD12 Disc Ultegra 2017 – First Impressions | BikeExchange Australia Blog

Cannondale is one of the few brands that has consistently produced high quality aluminium performance road bikes since the emergence of carbon fibre. While many brands launched head first into carbon fibre creations at the expense of a viable aluminium option, Cannondale bucked the trend and continued to produce and develop a seriously good aluminium performance road bike alternative to carbon. Both the CAAD12 and SuperSix Evo bikes have recently been equipped with disc brakes, the latest industry-wide development in road cycling.CyclingTips’ Australian tech editor Matt Wikstrom will be reviewing both the CAAD12 Disc and the newly released Superix EVO disc, in a battle of carbon vs aluminium, for performance disc road bike supremacy amongst the Cannondale fleet.
